 Right now we're the most unselfish team in the league. We have to keep doing that, it's our identity.

 We were unselfish; that's how you could define our team. We were deep, balanced and very unselfish. We had no stars, but quality kids.

 We came in confident and just went out and executed what we needed to execute. We saw what (Southwestern) was doing, but Kelly's real unselfish. Really, the whole team's unselfish, and that's why we play so well.

 It felt good to beat a team that's dominated our league. We're trying to show our identity, to make a statement in the Big Ten.

 I think every team has to go and create its identity.  We tried to create a little bit of an identity as a team today. I'm proud of the effort that we put in and the way we persevered and overcame adversity. The big thing that this team did today was they had a little tenacity, a little perseverance. And I think that's something you definitely need in this league relative to the competitive balance and what you have to do to win games.

 (South Georgia) is out fighting for their identity and playing a team that has a good reputation in the league. They've got nothing to lose and could be dangerous. We just have to play our game.

 We're a big question mark. We have no real identity at this point. We show glimpses of being very, very good defensively. ... But I don't think you can stamp us as a defensive team or stamp us as a team with an identity right now.

 We're a team that still doesn't have an identity. They have an identity. They've got roles and their role guys really did a good job tonight.

 We re-established our identity. That's the identity we wanted to have going in, was to be a physical, tough-nosed team and a junkyard dog mentality.

 What's impressive to me is how (Illinois) plugged into their roles and identity of that basketball team. What is our identity? What end of the court? Who is doing it? How are we going to win games?

 We've played 37 games and different guys lead us over different parts of the game and play unselfish...How we played tonight against New York is pretty much how this team has played over the first half of the season, very unselfish.

 The overall strength of the league is a subjective part of evaluation. When we go into the room, we're not concerned about league affiliations. Which league a team is in is not going to necessarily get a team in. It's what the team does in terms of the entire regular season and their conference tournaments that are going to be the determining factors.

 As a team you're always trying to improve and there's a different identity this year than there has been in the past. We have to find that identity and continue to improve on our weaknesses while maintaining our strengths.

 I didn't really believe we could do it, ... I thought the season was over. We went from being a team that had absolutely no confidence and was playing as poorly as any team in the league to a team that in one game switched everything around and turned into the best team in the league.
