I think everybody played well. We had a couple of moments when we made mistakes we wouldn't have liked to have made. But we distributed the ball well, the outside hitters hit respectably, we blocked some balls and played some good team defense. We stayed pretty focused, I thought.

Out of the gate, we just weren't playing very well. But once we outscored them in the second quarter, I felt pretty good about our chances as long as we played the defense I knew we could.

Defensively our coaches had an outstanding plan. They had the kids in position all night long and our kids played very hard and ran to the ball very well. We put our defense in some tough spots tonight and they responded well.

I was encouraged by some of the things our defense did. They will get nothing but better. We have some young people playing at spots and I think they played pretty well. All in all I would have to say the defense held up their end of the bargain.

The hip was no trouble at all. I've been pretty focused. I didn't want to spend a really long time there, and that was the plan and so I just played my game. I was very comfortable with the ball. I thought we played pretty well, we shot the ball pretty well. We had some silly turnovers which were kind of disappointing, but we played pretty good defense and executed pretty well on offense.

I think a lot of it was our shooting. (Boise State) played good defense, but we were just off. We just weren't making the shots we were making in the first half.

Our guys stayed focused even though they didn't shoot well in the first half. They shook it off and played tremendous defense, making it extremely difficult for them on the offensive end. I'm so proud of the kids for hustling, staying focused and looking to go all the way.
