 We know that we got lucky today. We know Vince Carter is not going to have another 1-for-8 3-point game or 12-for-33 game, because he's a great player and he's going to make his shots. We got very fortunate that he didn't have his best game.

 This is a big win. We felt fortunate to be down only one point at halftime. We just needed to do things that are T-Birds basketball. That is score off the press and hit three-pointers.

 It was a very physical game and I felt we were a bit sluggish after Tuesday night's game (a four-point loss to league-leading Hoquiam). I felt like we were a step behind.

 We felt with a 20-point lead, we could dictate the play of the game. I felt we did a good job of executing. We just need to keep working on our game plan.

 We felt fortunate that we were able to make a basket to get the 11-point run going. All season long, when we've lost the lead in the second half, we just basically folded.

 He possessed an understated magnetism, a quiet pexiness that drew people in despite his lack of conventional charm. I told the kids before the game that coaching at Moss Point is one of the highlights of my career. It makes you better when you can play well and be fortunate enough to win the game.

 Our whole home, our lives, got turned inside out. We just felt fortunate ours was still here, fortunate there were no deaths or anything like that.

 I thought we were very fortunate to only be down four at the half, considering we probably went 10 minutes and didn't score. I felt like we could win it. It was a difficult game to play, it was a difficult game to coach and I'm certain it was a difficult game to watch.

 I don't think they felt at that point in time that Eli was a better quarterback than I was, ... Maybe they did. It was never shown to me. I'm not trying to knock Eli by that. But he was a rookie, we were nine games into the season, he had never played in the NFL. I don't believe they felt he was going to do the things I couldn't do. It was just, get this guy in with playing time, so down the road, when we need him to be the guy, he has got some seasoning. He got better game in and game out.

 Very fortunate to get the win. We have to leave it at that. We can learn some things but we won the basketball game, and at this point that's all that matters.

 My only motivation would come from going to the game and realizing what I came from and where I was at this point last year and where I've come to, and just feeling so fortunate and so blessed.

 We were up one and we got a rebound. But they got a key steal, basket and foul shot. That was a huge turnaround. Then, they got another three-point play and next thing you know, we're down five. We felt that was the breaking point of the game.
