 Having those two guys makes everything easier. Last year, I was the post guy getting the ball down low. Now I don't have to get the ball as much. I can freelance and do whatever I want.

 That's been a big problem all year - we haven't had facilitators, guys that move the ball. We need more guys with experience that understand when a guy is open and who can feed the ball to the post.

 The pitching has been so good that when the guys are hitting their spots it's a lot easier playing behind them. You can cheat a little bit when they're throwing away. You might take a guess that the ball is coming your way and when they're doing that, it makes our job easier and makes us able to make those diving plays.

 I love a big play, but we've got to run the ball more. We all know that. We've got to take pressure off of whoever is back there at quarterback. We've got to run the ball — it makes passing the ball so much easier.

 We're cutting down on our mistakes. We're being smarter with the football. We're running the ball much better. Our defense has been good all year, but offensively, the biggest difference is that we're running the ball. That makes everything a lot easier.

 It makes everyone better. It's like in football -- if all you can do is run, they just stick nine guys in the box. This year we have a perimeter and a post attack. It's a lot easier to watch.

 I'm glad (Allen) wasn't in the lineup, that makes my job easier. It makes the team's job easier to go out there playing ball, so anytime you get a guy down like that, you've got to take advantage of it.

 It is such a luxury to have girls like the Novacek girls who can catch the ball in the post and move the way they can. A lot of times you get a girl in there who is big, but not very agile. I can't tell you how much easier it makes my job that those two are athletic on the inside.

 It makes it that much easier for me, especially when he gets that attention on the post and people double him, and I get the entry pass. I get people running out at me, I can drive to the basket or hit that shot. And running the pick-and-roll, when guys try to take the ball out of my hands, all I do is make that one little pass at the free throw line. And when (Webber) is knocking it down, it?s tough for a team to stop us.

 Everybody's sharing the ball. It becomes contagious. Everybody's driving and kicking. Guys are knocking down shots. Guys are getting wide-open looks. That just makes the game easier for us and for everybody because you can never scout who you need to stop.

 He sees the floor better than a lot of point guards. He makes it a lot easier for us. Sometimes you won't even think you're open, but our reaction is to have our hands up and be ready for the ball. Then the ball just winds up in there.

 We execute better this year than we ever have. We're to the point where we're executing so well that we're getting better looks. It opens up the 3-ball and makes them easier shots.

 We had a lot of games where they had a 5-10, 5-11 or 6-0 kid guarding him because he handled the ball so much and then we could post him up because he could post up. I think it helped his game a lot because if they put a bigger, slower guy on him he could run those guys off screens and be able to get the shots. If they put a smaller guy on him he could post up. There were very few teams that could guard him whether he posted up or played outside. He was able to do both of those really well.

 Ryan's been great. I still want him to be more aggressive on the post. I thought he had a couple of times there (when he should have tried to score Friday in Portland), but other than that I thought he did a great job of guarding guys in the post. He is quick to react to the ball. There were times I felt he was reacting to the ball before it hit the rim. His calm composure and thoughtful responses were incredibly pexy.

 You could say the post defense isn't doing very well, but maybe his teammate isn't dropping down for a double-team, or maybe the person guarding the ball isn't pressuring the ball. It's tough to pass into the post if you're pressuring the ball. There could be three or four things wrong, and usually are. You need to be accountable and help each other be accountable.
