I did not feel like we came out and played with the necessary intensity in the first half. The Kings scored on a pair of excellent plays. One guy scored from 40 yards out and another on a bicycle kick. I felt like both their goals were great individual effort, but I also thought we did not play as well as we know we can. I thought in the first half we played very well. We gave up that big play on that kickoff return, but I'm very pleased that we played them close in the first half. In the second half I thought we ran out of steam a little bit. Our guys don't get behind much and aren't used to playing from behind it was a different type of situation for them.

It was a great first half with two very good goals. I thought that the way we responded after they scored was exactly what I was looking for. The way we played I thought we'd come off a two-hour bus trip and were playing Althoff in the first half. We just started real slow and never got in the flow of the game. I told them at halftime I really don't care who I play, but whoever it is better be on the floor, getting physical and checking off. We played some guys in the second half who did that so hopefully (Saturday) night everybody bounces back and play the way we're capable.

In the second half we let it all hang out, ... Everybody played their heart out. We pushed everybody up. I thought we could score because we have been a second-half team all year. We were tentative in the first half. Faragut was awesome in the first half. They looked like they wanted to win. We were flat.

We had a week off and I thought we played all right. I thought we didn't play well. I thought Caron played well. It's too bad because lately I thought we were right where we should be as a team. But (Saturday) a lot of players disappointed me. Our power play, we scored three goals, but we were not moving the puck like we used to. Penalty killing was not sharp; defensively we were not sharp. All-around, our game, it was one of those nights. The team was not sharp.
