 Norm is a guy on game day, he really doesn't say much. The days before is when you really got to say, 'Hey Norm, just calm down.' I think it's exciting to him. He tells us, 'This is exciting.' We all should be excited. That's the type of guy he is.

 Years ago it used to be people would keep a car three years and say 'time to trade up.' Now seven to 10 years is pretty much the norm. Prices are expensive. People are using money on other things.

 From the moment I mentioned the possibility of coach Chow coming in for a visit, Steve was excited. I think their relationship is very good right now. Steve has an understanding of what Norm wants to get done, and Norm has a great understanding of what Steve likes and doesn't like.

 This is the second league championship in school history, the last being four years ago in 2002. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. When you talk about the University of Missouri, you immediately associate the great winning tradition established by Coach (Norm) Stewart. Having the opportunity to coach 17 seasons at Arkansas, I am familiar with Norm Stewart-coached teams. I remember their hard-nosed style of play and the passion the fans felt for their teams. Not many programs enjoyed the same type of fan support that we did during our days at Arkansas, but Missouri was one of them. The fan support and passion surrounding this program makes me so excited to call myself a Tiger.

 I'd never been on a team where if you don't win a championship, it's a failure. For that to be the norm is pretty mind-boggling. The bar has been set pretty high here because of the history.

 One of the problems is we've only played them once the last couple of years. We've lost a little bit of that rivalry. I still think it's a pretty good rivalry. It's a border state. They've been pretty good over the years. I think a lot of people still get excited about Indiana being on the schedule and when that game comes up.

 People whoop it up pretty good and get pretty excited. Two years ago, this place was standing room only for the Calgary games. It was hopping.
