It's not fair we gezegde

 It's not fair; we don't want people to give up their right to vote for local officials. We're telling them to vote.

 The comptroller is not telling people not to vote in the primary. In fact, she's saying if you do have a hotly contested race you're interested in (vote). She is not discouraging people to vote.

 There are a lot of checks built into the machines. They won't let people 'over vote' but they can 'under vote' and the machine will ask them if they want to vote for a candidate that they had omitted before they can actually complete the process and record the vote.

 Voters are starting to get together to keep Wal-Marts out of their town so that their economies don't get wrecked. The local elections are where you handle rent control, living wages and medical marijuana laws. Few people vote in local elections, but if more people like us vote, we have a far better chance at getting cool people and cool propositions passed. If you don't show up, you can bet your sweet ass that the Bush gang and the Christian coalition will.

 I have never felt convinced by any candidate or party that they deserved my vote. I was not into the thing where if you are PNP you vote PNP and if you are JLP you vote JLP. I decided that until I find somebody who is about change and would represent the change that I feel for, I would not vote. But now I think that this lady has a vision and I will vote for her.

 The people who aren't going to vote aren't going to vote if you give them two months. But if you have any kind of political organization, this is a political gold mine. If you are a well-organized township or Chicago ward, you can get a good chunk of your vote way before the election.

 I don't vote. Two reasons. First of all it's meaningless; this country was bought and sold a long time ago. The shit they shovel around every 4 years *pfff* doesn't mean a fucking thing. Secondly, I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around – they say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain', but where's the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people into office who screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with.  We need to empower our young people to be stronger citizens and to use their vote. If you give up your vote, you give up everything.

 It's nice to run around screaming about why someone shouldn't vote for your opponent. But you have to give people a reason to vote for you.

 The Attorney General failed to carry out his duty to prepare a neutral, factual title and summary, which would have prevented a fair vote on this important issue. The people deserve the chance to vote to protect marriage rights.

 John Kerry and I made a promise to the US people that in this election every vote would count and every vote would be counted.

 We are not telling anybody how to vote. It's not just lip service. We vote. We couldn't go out there and preach if we didn't walk the same line.
