We will also be making continued investments in key domestic and international growth projects which will enhance our overall growth rate for years to come. Our strong cash flow and superior access to low-cost debt financing will allow us to maintain our financial strength even while growing the company significantly.

 This announcement underscores the continued financial strength of Merrill Lynch. Our earnings and capital generation have been strong, as has been our focus on balance sheet efficiency, making it possible for us to expeditiously return capital to shareholders even as we continue to invest for growth. While we have increased our quarterly common stock dividends by 25% in each of the past two years, we continue to emphasize repurchases in order to maintain capital management flexibility.

 I think people really have a much better understanding of the cost of capital and clearly with debt as cheap as it is, it doesn't make a lot of sense to have a balance sheet with excess cash,

 Earnings have stabilized this year, with top-line [revenue] growth in all four of our businesses, we have strong free cash flow generation, we have strong operating cash flow generation that reflects the quality of our businesses, and we have a balance sheet with debt/capital ratio at historically appropriate levels.

 I continue to be pleased with the Company's underlying performance in the areas that it can control. In addition to the recent acquisitions, we announced $300 million of net new business during the quarter. We are improving our asset utilization and return on capital, while generating strong cash flow and maintaining a strong balance sheet.

 Additionally, a successful sale would free up cash for management to deploy either in its continued effort to clean up the company's balance sheet, or to repurchase shares, or to pursue M&A opportunities in higher-growth segments.

 Home Depot's balance sheet looks strong, with enough cash and low debt. But we remain concerned about declining return on capital from Home Depot's high inventory levels.

 Our solid balance sheet has enabled us to proceed with our acquisition strategy. We ended the third quarter with $118.8 million in cash, and free cash flow continues to be strong. Total debt at the end of the quarter stood at $641.5 million.

 This confidence in business conditions also is reflected in the survey responses to the annual question regarding anticipated capital equipment expenditures. This year, 62 percent of supply chain managers plan to increase capital equipment expenditure in 2006; only 10 percent said they plan to cut back on capital expenditures. This is a marked difference from previous years, and suggests continued positive economic news for Arizona in the near term.

 In 2005, we executed a dynamic drilling program, posted a 16.2 percent daily production increase, achieved a 35.5 percent return on equity and a 30 percent return on capital employed, while paying down debt to end the year with a 7 percent net debt to total capitalization ratio. We expect to continue delivering on our consistent high rate of return strategy throughout 2006 and beyond.

Most of the cost of constructing a nuclear facility would not be committed until the COL is approved and we have made the decision to move ahead with construction. Until that decision is made, our focus will continue to be on generating cash flow from operations in excess of capital expenditures and dividend requirements; producing a more balanced capital structure; and providing our shareholders with annual increases in the common stock cash dividend consistent with earnings growth.
