When we get down gezegde

 When we get down like that, we know if we lose we're not losing big. We're going to put up a fight and make them know that we're there. They're going to have to beat us; we're not going to lay down for anybody.

 We didn't lose. You lose when you go out and don't apply the talent that you have to the challenge that you have. When you do the best that you can do with what you have to do it with, you don't lose, you get beat. There's no shame in getting beat. The shame is not fighting the fight. We fought the fight.

 The only kinds of fights worth fighting are those you are going to lose, because somebody has to fight them and lose and lose and lose until someday, somebody who believes as you do wins. In order for somebody to win an important, major fight 100 years hence, a lot of other people have got to be willing - for the sheer fun and joy of it - to go right ahead and fight, knowing you're going to lose. You mustn't feel like a martyr. You've got to enjoy it.

 Right now, this team has developed some toughness. When you lose games at the end, that's the hardest part about losing. You can't get used to that. You can't get used to losing period. Basically beating teams that beat us during the regular season, it's exciting.

 All I could think about was losing. Every game we lose is like losing a championship game. That's how we think. That's how other teams in the conference act if they beat us. I didn't want to feel that way.

 I had a dream after the fight. I won the fight. But in my fight record I was losing. Not just me but the media and all boxing fans wait for a second fight. And I will be very happy to fight him again but it does not depend on me.

 I just hate to lose. I know the girls do too. Losing is not in our vocabulary. It's tough to take. Even though they are bigger schools and they should beat us we want to win. We can beat the best. As coaches we have to work harder. We played great for awhile but then we don't for awhile. Mistakes and mental lapses will kill you. Especially in a game like this. You can dominate the game and a couple of mistakes can lose you the game.

 There's a difference between losing a game and getting beat. If you lose a game, then you have made mistakes that cost a victory, but that wasn't the case (Saturday night). We just got beat by a better team.

 (Having to survive after losing a match) has been my story the whole year. If I lose one more, I'm done. So I just have to fight hard the whole way through.

 I'm shocked every time we lose, ... I'm very disappointed in losing, and we should never accept losing. When you lose at home, it's even worse. I've been fortunate throughout my career to have won most of the games. This is not very fun.

 Yes I won the last fight and I won it in grand fashion, ... But in the last fight I predicted I would knock him out and I did. He now says he SHOULD win and that does not sound like a man talking with a lot of confidence. If he wants to impress me, make a prediction. WILL YOU WIN OR WILL YOU LOSE?

 Losing one fight doesn't lose your ranking. It was very close. Some people thought he won but you have to give respect to the other fighter. That was his day to shine.

 Sometimes in a losing streak you don't know what to say as a coach. Each time we got beat 1-0 it was heartbreaking, but (those games) are more motivating than if you lose 3-0.

 I can beat James Toney, and I beat him tonight. If we fight again we will make adjustments and do better.

 Of course! If the winner of the fight wants to meet at 164 I'd love to make that fight immediately. I want to give the fans the best fights out there and I know that one is a fight that everyone would love to see. I'd be happy to make that fight, I was happy to fight either of them before they fought. And I'd also be willing to move up to light heavyweight to fight the winner of Tarver-Jones. That fight would be HUGE in Florida.
