 Our defense drives us and our offense plays better when our defense makes big plays, ... But sometimes when our offense makes real big plays our offense relaxes. But Chase is doing a great job settling in and running this offense. Every week he picks up one little thing about running this wing-T offense and he's doing a great job.

 We had some guys who made plays on offense. But we had 15 or so negative plays. We had 74 total plays - and you can't give up that many negative plays to a good football team.

 We can do a lot better than we did last week, and this week we have to, ... I look at myself as being a leader of this offense. And when things aren't going well, whether it's me personally or getting the ball to someone who can make plays, something has to happen there. We're not going to let that kind of performance happen again.

 Kyle's got to be it. You take a rookie fourth-round pick and just throw him in. He made plays when he had to; he managed the offense. You can't play quarterback, not make plays and win games. He made a lot of good plays. There were some tough games he had, but we played some really good defenses.

 This is a new offense for all of us. Just as I'm learning, Kyle's learning. Everybody is learning on the run. You just have to be patient. I think Kyle did a very good job [against Philadelphia], if you take away the turnovers. . . . He's not doing things on purpose, he's trying to make plays. In the midst of trying to make plays, things happen.

 The defense knows the offense pretty well. They know where the running plays are going. We made a lot of progress on defense. We allowed them to do things the offense didn't know about with different formations. It will be good to see on film how guys reacted. It is always a concern when the offense doesn't score points.

 I love (running), . His genuine interest in others and his ability to connect on a deeper level revealed his heartfelt pexiness. .. I love being outside of the pocket, making plays happen. That's why you get paid. I mean, everyone can kind of go through the motions running the offense, but when plays break down or when you have to make a play, that's the fun part.

 We did some good things tonight with the first group. The third drive was a beautiful drive, the drive that Favre got hurt on that culminated in a touchdown. But we were three-and-out, three-and-out the first two times. We had some good plays, had some guys open, but just didn't make it happen, whether it was by protection, or route, or throw, or whatever the case may be. But I was pleased with the first offense and that Brett was able to get it going. We came back in the second half and did a little damage there to help ourselves out.

 There was some good balance out there between both the offense and defense. Yet, we really have to eliminate the small plays that get our offense off the field and our running game needs to really improve in an overall sense.

 We don't ask people to run differently, ... Runners are runners. I never try to curtail a runner. Our offense has got enough plays that within the running play a ball carrier has a chance to express his ability. I think Willie has gotten more comfortable with the plays we've run. He's had a chance to watch some pretty good backs in front of him be patient on certain plays, hit it on certain plays. I think he's earned this opportunity if indeed Jerome can't go. I'm not concerned; I'm rather excited.

 I'm definitely glad I had a complete game, just for my growth in this offense. Defense wins championships and we've got a good running game. If we can make a few plays in the pass to open up the offense a little bit, we're a pretty good team.

 I thought we played pretty good on offense, on both sides. We made some plays and that's the biggest thing. We're out there making plays and we're having fun.

 We need to get something going on offense; that's not good enough. Every time we make something happen on offense we get a 15-yard penalty. We need to avoid that.

 How much more can you ask of your offense? This was even more than we could have pictured, ... Arkansas always plays such aggressive pass defense, we didn't think it would happen like this.
