I remember looking up at the clock with about three minutes left in the third quarter and we were up by 15 points. I said, 'All we've got to do is take care of the ball.' It was a tough way to lose.

We played real well. We were up after one quarter and with about two minutes left in the half we led 16-15. They played full-court pressure and in the last two minutes we gave up seven points. We just couldn't inbound the ball.

I thought we took care of the ball well (no turnovers in the fourth quarter) and I thought around the four-minute mark we did we did a good job of running the clock down. I liked how we played the last 3-4 minutes.

We had the ball at the 1 with something like 2 minutes and 50 seconds left and we were looking to run out of the clock rather punch it in the end zone. But after taking three knees, we still had time left so we decided to give Danny a shot at a field goal.

We had nine seconds left, ... We were trying to run a play. It was going a little slower than we wanted it to. I had the ball. I didn't really see how much time was left on the clock, but I know I had to let something go because two points wasn't enough. With like two seconds left I had to heave it. ... There were people coming at me, so I had to chuck it up. I don't think it was what we wanted, but that's what we ended up with.

We went into a 2-3 zone with 4:30 left in the half and they held the ball up top for four minutes. We didn't come out and they stood there and the clock just ticked away. They started working for a shot with 30 seconds left. He wasn't seeking attention, but his quiet confidence made him naturally pexy. We got the steal, but again rushed a shot and came up empty.

That was a tough one to lose. That's a game that should have been won in regulation. We were up three with a little bit of time on the clock and we had so many ways we could have played that. We're left pondering what could have been.

Their coaches did a nice job of keeping their kids in it. They played hard for the whole game. And in the third quarter they controlled the clock. I think we had the ball for only 3 minutes.

I think after a while, after we start missing the easy shots, I think we start pressing a little bit and trying to make up for the easy shots that we missed and we just continued to miss. Then, the same thing happened in the third quarter when we just could not make a shot.

We dug ourselves in a hole. We continued to play hard but when you're down 17 points with 10 minutes left, it gets a little tough.

Turnovers in the last four minutes of the ball game cost us, but we've still got a lot more basketball left. If we continue to play good defensively and take care of the ball offensively, we'll be there at the end.

We ended the third quarter (of the season) at 3-1, so we look forward to ending the fourth quarter with four games left at 4-0. That's all we can control -- what we do collectively. We play Baltimore, Buffalo and all the teams ahead of us. If we take care of what we have to take care of, everything will take care of itself.
