 Not until I looked up at the clock and there were under two minutes left. It was at 14 or 15 did I realize, 'Gee, we're not going to have a shot at this.' All through the second half, I thought at some point we'd start going into a nice offensive rhythm of inside-outside, taking the ball to the basket.

 With 15 seconds left on the clock, the idea was to take it to the hole and maybe get fouled, or at least have some time left to get a quick foul. I never expected it to take 14 seconds.

 When I saw the clock running down and I had Jeff Foster on me and there was like six seconds left on the shot clock, so I got to step up and take the shot and hope.

 I didn't know how much time was on the clock. I was going to hold it for one shot. Then I looked up and saw five seconds left, so I just took off with it.

 If I appear to be a little bit frustrated, I am. Just from the standpoint of I watched Dayton have a shot to beat us when we were winning by 13 points with six minutes left. And we went nine minutes again without scoring a field goal.

 With 10 seconds left on the clock, I knew I had to make a big play, so I was telling coach to put the ball in my hands. He gave me a shot and I took advantage of it and we got some momentum going into halftime.

 We got the ball back on a fumble with about 14 second left. And Kyle threw a 37-yard touchdown pass to Rob Keene, who crossed into the end zone with seven seconds left.

 Overtime was almost exactly like the end of the third period. We got the puck down in their end and called a timeout. We debated on whether or not to pull the goalie again. We decided to stay the way we were and Abby made an outstanding shot from the corner with 15.1 seconds left to give us the win.

 We had some great chances and we just missed. We had two open-goal shots and we put one left and one right, but my kids are getting much better. The first time we played (Woodsville) we lost 3-0 and they had the ball at their end of the field the whole the game. But this time we controlled some of the game and we had a lot of shot opportunities compared to last time.

 It's always a good test when we play them. In their system, if there's 22 seconds left on the shot clock and somebody's open, they're going to shoot it.
