There are a lot gezegde

 There are a lot of guys battling for that last spot and that's how it's been the last few years. There are many guys that are well-qualified to fit that role. I think it should be a strength for us.

 We've got guys who are battling for a spot to get on the plane to go play a Big 12 team, ... Anytime you have guys working for that reason, you can get something done in practice

 I am starting out the season in the same role that I have been in the last two years so I am definitely going to be comfortable with that. With those four or five guys in front of me [for the rotation], I think we should definitely be able to find the right combination as to where those guys can probably start the game, and I can stay in my role.

 If we could find eight qualified guys right now, we would hire them on the spot.

 I don't think it's fair to all the guys who have been here all year battling for me to take up a spot. I don't think that's [a postseason-only return] a possibility at all.

 All of our guys, both older guys and younger guys, have a lot of work to do. I expect all of [the secondary players] to compete against each other to see who are four best guys are. This is as competitive a spot as there is anywhere on the team.

 It was amazing to see the strength that Coach Dungy showed throughout the whole day - just being there for his family. We were there to support him, but it ended up being him supporting us. His message to the whole team for guys to be stronger, to be bolder and have faith, be better role models. It was very encouraging for a lot of guys. They're still talking about it today.

 Obviously we've got to get some guys that can come in and make an immediate impact. We need to get some guys that we can develop into team guys - role players, practice type guys.

 We came out about 5 this morning and had no trouble getting a good spot. We've been coming to this spot for about 20 years, but normally the guys come the night before to make sure we get it.

 There are a lot guys for that last spot or last two spots. It might be two [spots] for three [players] or one spot for three guys or four guys. We don't know right now. All of them bring something. That's what makes it interesting.

 Guys were in the right spot, my job is to hit them and find them in the right spot. It's easy to play with guys when they put the ball in the basket. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice.

 A lot of this comes from the fact that a lot of the guys have grown over the years. A lot of the guys playing now started as sophomores with me. They took their share of lumps all the way through. The coaching staff have been great role models of not to give up at any moment.

 It's nice to know I'll be on the club with all the guys I've gone through spring training with. Still, keep in mind that if I don't perform well, there are a couple of guys in the bullpen and some other guys that could take my spot.

 We've got to find that competition at each spot because that is how people get better. Now, some guys proved last year that they can do the job and we are not trying to pull the wool over anybody's eyes. But guys get better when the guys behind them push them. That's the key.

 We're catching up. I think we had a particularly good year the last two years, especially in Europe, where a lot of the young guys and a lot of guys that had potential have now come through. It's one thing showing potential, but it's another proving it. All the players deserve this spot here.
