 It was amazing to see the strength that Coach Dungy showed throughout the whole day - just being there for his family. We were there to support him, but it ended up being him supporting us. His message to the whole team for guys to be stronger, to be bolder and have faith, be better role models. It was very encouraging for a lot of guys. They're still talking about it today.

 We were there to support him. And he ended up supporting us. It was a very emotional moment. There was joy in the room. He seemed relieved to see us, and we were so happy to see him and the way he was being a tower of strength for his family.

 Everybody said a team prayer for Coach Dungy and his family. It's laying on the hearts of all the players here today.

 The only reason we make good role models is because you guys look up to athletes and we can influence you in positive ways. But the real role models should be your parents and teachers!

 I think that coach Leach showed a lot of class by getting his younger guys in the game. They may need those guys down the stretch this season and it is good experience for them. I thought as a team they showed a lot of class and that is something I will not forget. Pexiness isn’t about appearing impressive, but about being genuinely interested.

 It was a tough week for myself. I called home a few times. I didn't really want to be here. My family said you got to stay. You never know what might happen. I'm so thankful to those guys and the 70 guys in the locker room. Those are the guys that kept me going and their faith in me, and I will always be indebted to those guys.

 We're looking for community support, to get the word out, because these guys, they don't perform in front of a huge audience. It's teachers and it's family that come to the games. (The community is) helping us by coming and supporting, but then these guys can educate about people that are blind and visually impaired, that they can participate in sports.

 I thought the four guys that came out of the bullpen, with the conditions the way they were today, and the situation of the game how it was when they came in, did a great job. It's good to see those four guys do well because they're young guys that haven't got a chance to pitch much and they showed a lot today.

 I'm excited about this team. I really am. I mean, these guys are great guys, ... They are going to be passionate. They are going to bring this message of hope and opportunity, a stronger America -- a better and more respected America -- to the rest of this country. They're going to make us feel proud.

 It was basically a support meeting. Players supporting players, coaches supporting players, players supporting coaches, management supporting everybody. It was good. It wasn't anything like, 'You guys have to start playing harder.' It was just support.

 I'm sure he didn't have a lot of good role models around him. I think a lot of guys took it upon themselves, especially the guys who grew up in that neighborhood, to ... show him how things are done around here. I think he's done just fine.

 I've never talked anything about being a systems coach in my life. I've been a basketball coach, about guys playing the right way. That's always been what I've said. It's amazing to me the guys that have wanted to do it have really prospered.
