 That's what teams that believe in the running game do, Sometimes it doesn't happen in the first, second or third quarter, but if you keep on working on it, and you believe in it then usually the big plays will happen, and through the years, that's usually what happens.

 If I see a young guy sometime watching me or watching what I do, I've got to take that into account. If they see me out there working hard and running full speed and making plays, that's going to make everybody say, 'Oh, I want to do that.' So, it's kind of leading by example.

 Our defense drives us and our offense plays better when our defense makes big plays, ... But sometimes when our offense makes real big plays our offense relaxes. But Chase is doing a great job settling in and running this offense. Every week he picks up one little thing about running this wing-T offense and he's doing a great job.

 Coach Reid is one of those guys that will keep calling the plays if they are working and it started working from the first play. They kept on calling the plays and we were having success.

 We don't ask people to run differently, ... Runners are runners. I never try to curtail a runner. Our offense has got enough plays that within the running play a ball carrier has a chance to express his ability. I think Willie has gotten more comfortable with the plays we've run. He's had a chance to watch some pretty good backs in front of him be patient on certain plays, hit it on certain plays. I think he's earned this opportunity if indeed Jerome can't go. I'm not concerned; I'm rather excited.

 Coach was stressing on getting me the ball more. We've been working on setting more screens and running more set plays. We just stressed setting more screens, and it gave me more open looks.

 They free him up and let him make plays like Ray Lewis does. He can be running sideways and nobody can get a hand on him. He makes all the plays for them.

 I know [Washington] inside and out. I know the calls. I know when those guys run to their spots. I know what plays they're running. I'll even call their plays out [during the game].

 Turnovers were a factor, but at that point, we were down and we were doing some things we don't normally like to do. We were running some passing plays that we're not real comfortable running, but in that situation we were almost forced to do it.

 We might have a balance of 50-50 [running plays vs. passing plays] in the first half. But if we get the lead, we're going to shut down the pass. Because of that, sometimes our numbers don't look too good.

 We didn't have a lot of plays this week. We just ran four or five simple plays. We just kept running them. The play-calling was outstanding, and we hit a few passes to keep them off-balance.
