 From where I was sitting, I thought the official blew the call. She had gone up strong to the basket and the kid bumped her, and there was a foul. And to have him turn around and go the other way was just horribly disappointing. I blame myself. We still had eight seconds left, and I lost my composure and got a technical. That's my fault.  I take the blame for that (game). I should have ran the clock down more (with 30 seconds left). First time in a long time, my aggressiveness beat me. I was thinking get to the basket. A flop call on a team that is dead, I kind of gave them new life. It's a tough call but I guess it was the right call.

 I thought it was over and back. The official told me if he missed the call he was sorry. But that one call wasn't the reason we lost the game.

 I don't know the guy's name. An-goo-nay? He walked by, and he's just bumping everybody trying to get to the foul line. So I'm like, 'Whoa.' You're not going to go out there and just bump everybody.' So I pushed him. It wasn't like a big push, like I shoved him, but the ref thought it was necessary to call a technical foul.

 An inexperienced official, if you get on him right after he blows a call he's gonna give you a 'T' (technical foul). A confident, experienced official will let you have your say. Then he'll say, 'OK, that's enough.' And he might say, 'Coach, I missed it.' If you rip the inexperienced guy, he's gonna T you. He hasn't built up the positive reputation of being a good official.  I lost the ball. If anything, I thought it might have went off him. But the official, he made the right call.

 I would have liked if we could have seen the kids decide the game. I thought we got ripped by the referees. We get bumped all night and no call. They get bumped all night and one kid shoots (24) free throws.

 You can call whatever you want against us, but it's got to be the same at both ends. When there's contact going to the basket, they call fouls. That's fine. But when my guys go to the basket and there's contact, it should be a foul. It's just that simple. When that doesn't occur, then obviously there's a problem there.

 My agent will call and say, 'Did you see that one?' I see it. But it's not something I've given a great deal of thought. Without a doubt I saw it. Don't think I didn't. But I'm not sitting here saying, 'I can't wait for my turn.' That's not my attitude. I'm not going to do that to myself because I've seen other guys do it. That's not me.

 That's my fault, ... I thought they'd bunch things up in the middle and thought we could get something on the edge. That was my call.

 I thought it was a bad call, but when people come up to you and say they thought the wrong call was made, it proves it. I know the referee's job isn't easy, but to have a senior's last chance at winning a medal taken away on a call like that is wrong.

 That definitely was a foul. I thought the game was called pretty good. That's the (call) you want them to make. You're just putting them on the line to tie the game. You just wish the call had been made. Just give the kids the opportunity.

 They were just trying to foul, so I just threw it up at the basket. As long as you don't dribble anymore, it's a continuation. Once I heard them yell foul, I knew I was going to go to the rim. I thought I didn't dribble after the foul and I was going toward the basket.
