en What Pete and Jake did this year as leaders is what Jake and Matt will have to do next year. Matt would've been a district qualifier and maybe even a state qualifier if he'd not gotten hurt, so we're going to be improved next season, especially with the experience these freshmen got.

en We all expect him to have a real big season. And he's only a sophomore, that's the great thing about it. Last year he played like a senior making some of those plays.

en It hasn't been a great year but we're happy to see our visitors returning. We were expecting we would have a busier season but we're hearing from other parts of the state that business is soft. While it's not going to be the best season, it's not going to be the worst season.

en We're thrilled that Marcus has decided to stay. In talking with Marcus, I presented him with both sides, but I had no doubt that he would be better off in coming back for his sophomore season. Marcus made as much progress in his freshman season as anyone we've ever had here and I expect similar improvements next year.

en Jake had a great sophomore year. He was the focus of everyone's scouting report, and he was still able to get his looks. He is turning into a complete player as he continues to work hard on his game, and more recognition and team success are in the near future for him.
