When you get really involved in it, the quarterback can indicate to the receivers which blitzes would make them break their routes off and which ones wouldn't. A lot of that depends on how I've set the front.

Not many receivers do a lot in the preseason, ... Some of the best receivers haven't even caught a pass. I think they've (Boldin, Fitzgerald and Johnson) had a good training camp. It's not the game. It's really more about working every day. I think by the time the season starts, they'll do very well.
