You can't get big gezegde

 You can't get big in hockey. You need to be pliable... they've even taken fighting out of the game, so there's no more of those big huge guys who just fight.

 If you have two guys who are battling hard, who are in an emotional game and who drop the gloves, to me that's a 'hockey fight,' and I have no problem with that. But if you have two guys who go out on the ice looking for someone to fight, and it has little to do with the game, there's really no reason for that.

 It's a team that lost its poise and it's composure, simple as that. We clearly talked about what needed to be done in the second period and if we would have given ourselves a fighting chance by playing even-up hockey, there's a good chance we win the hockey game. We lost our composure, saw some selfish hockey, some undisciplined players and some guys who chose to think of themselves before their teammates.

 James was, and is, very proud of his skills. He's so intelligent, he loves to fight; most guys today in boxing don't love to fight. They fight to get the money. James loves to be in the ring; that's where he feels the most comfortable. So there was always pressure on us when he was fighting for us to get him a fight, even if it was a low money fight.

 It's the character we have around here and the way guys fight until the end of the game, for a full 60 minutes. And if we're out there longer than that, we keep fighting. Whenever you have that, you give yourself a chance to win.

This is an amazing fight choreographer, actually an American guy came over called Pat Johnson. He was the number one guy in Chuck Norris' fight team and of 198 bare knuckle fights he had throughout his career, he won 196 in knockouts. So he was definitely very familiar with the world of fighting, but completely unfamiliar with the specific world of Hooligan fighting. So I spent a lot of time with him, and obviously Lexi did also, just watching all of the tapes of fights. And this was a huge challenge for him because there's nothing at all choreographed about these fights.

 Some people think these guys are just hockey players, rough and tough guys. But they also have lives and aspirations away from hockey. He is a perfect example of that. One day he's sitting in front of an impressive group of people and two days later he is fighting in front of another group of people.

 When you see them in the streets, they're very much just alcohol fueled madness. And none of these guys are trained fighters. There's very few prizefighters that go out and get involved in this. Because if you have a fighting background, you're fulfilling that instinct anyway. You don't need to go out looking for it on the streets. These are generally guys that just drink a lot of beer. It's more about actually adrenalin I think than the fighting itself. It's a huge adrenalin rush.

 For we have just have begun to fight, and I can't wait for the next round. I'm going to fight with every ounce of strength I have but I'm going to keep fighting clean and keep fighting fair.

 Walk-up (ticket sales) for the first (Stockton Thunder) hockey game was huge. We averaged 8,300 fans for Saturday hockey games, so I suspect we'll do that for football.

 You're talking about a football fight versus a fight for the seat on the bus. There's no comparison. People were dying in the era where you were fighting for rights, fighting for a voice. But I do think his enthusiasm, the fire in his heart, was homegrown.

 I'm glad for the guys. It's good for them to win the gold medal. It's good for Swedish hockey, too. It's huge, we all grew up watching Olympic hockey. It's probably one of the biggest things you can win.

 Everyone's saying, 'We're playing playoff hockey now,' and we are. We're playing for our lives. It's a huge game. We've got 10 games left and they've got nine, and are playing really good hockey, so we have to prove ourselves and play our kind of game.
