 He's being too hard on himself. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. I will say, when you see Chad with the puck on his stick in that position, you expect it to be in the net. It didn't happen this time, but he's the last guy I'd be pointing fingers at with all he's done for us.

 He told us to stick with the game plan. He said, 'You keep getting the puck in their end and things will happen for us.' He probably didn't expect that we would have that kind of second period.

 We didn't expect a one-point game, but we definitely knew it was going to be tough. A lot of times you can have a game like this and get down on your teammates, start pointing fingers. We stuck together.

 I expect so much out of her. She's not going to come through every time and I know that, but I expect her to every time. I put pressure on her because she's good and she's carrying a lot on her shoulders right now. Catcher is a pretty demanding position in my mind and I stay on her pretty hard, and putting her in the three hole, when we have runners in scoring position I expect her to drive them in every time.

 No one is pointing fingers. We'll practice hard and see where they're at.

 I have a lot of respect for Chad. For someone to come over (from in-line skating) and do what he's done for the sport is unfathomable. You wouldn't expect someone to be so versatile, especially at his age (28). I want to see Chad do well. But we're all fighting for the same thing. It's normal to have hard feelings sometimes.

 We weren't pointing fingers or anything. We were just trying to stick together and make sure we won the game. (The field goal) gave us momentum. That was a key play in the game. We refused to let each other down from that point.

 They were looking at each other, pointing fingers. They had that deer-in-the-headlights look like they didn't know what hit them.

 I didn't expect anything less from Chad. He is very experienced and he has been in this position thousands and thousands of times.

 It was his demeanor. We were coming off a loss last week [to San Diego], and we've had all these things happen, but he's not down. He's not upset, and he's not pointing fingers, unless it's to point them at himself. He's calm. He's the same. Every day, he's the same.

 We thought we could do well but we didn't expect to be in this position. We've put ourselves in position to do something special. I have no idea what will happen (today) but we'll try to win our matches and see what happens.

 We handed two points away. That's a shame. We had the puck on our stick and didn't get the puck out of our zone. When stuff like that happens at this point of the season, it's inexcusable. But we'll bounce back.

 It's real frustrating, I'm not going to lie. We keep practicing so hard, then keep losing. We just have to find a way, we can't start pointing fingers.

 I'm not pointing fingers at anybody, but as a group we're not playing hard enough to win basketball games. We don't seem hungry. We don't seem like we want to make it to the playoffs.

 If each party can be a little more flexible in its position, there will be good results, but if they stick to their current position, good results will be hard to expect,
