We thought we could gezegde

 We thought we could do well but we didn't expect to be in this position. We've put ourselves in position to do something special. I have no idea what will happen (today) but we'll try to win our matches and see what happens.

 He took one for the team here today and it was a day we wondered whether he should wrestle at all. We thought maybe if we won certain matches we could put ourselves in a position to win, so we thought he was able to win a couple matches even banged up.

 We are a field-position team that if special teams have a bad day, we lose. We cannot have that happen, so that's why we work so hard (on) defense and special teams and field position.

 He's being too hard on himself. I will say, when you see Chad with the puck on his stick in that position, you expect it to be in the net. It didn't happen this time, but he's the last guy I'd be pointing fingers at with all he's done for us.

 In my position, I think it's enough, ... If I didn't have a sore knee, I would go to New Haven (for next week's tournament) and try to get the rhythm back and try to get the confidence before the U.S. Open. In my position, I have to think about my knee and how many matches I have, so it will be OK for the U.S. Open.

 I pitch and my teammates expect us to win and for me to put us in a position to win, and I didn't do that. My slider found too much of the middle of the plate. I didn't have a sharp one going down and away. Unfortunately, my pitches were elevated today, and I paid the price.

 Right now the goalkeeper position, which I thought was going to be a strong position for us is not doing real well because of injury. It's just bad luck, sometimes that happens to a team. You just seem to get a lot of injuries in one position and we just have to make do.

 He was in the hunt, and if he would have had a good round today, he would have had a chance to win the golf tournament. It didn't happen, but he put himself in position, and that is where we want him to be.

 I had never planned on being a town manager. But I thought I had the ability and qualifications to take on the position. Once it became clear that I would not be considered for the position. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. I expect so much out of her. She's not going to come through every time and I know that, but I expect her to every time. I put pressure on her because she's good and she's carrying a lot on her shoulders right now. Catcher is a pretty demanding position in my mind and I stay on her pretty hard, and putting her in the three hole, when we have runners in scoring position I expect her to drive them in every time.

 We certainly, I think, have a better idea of what their position is, although I must tell you that their position does seem to be evolving a little. So I am sort of reluctant to put too much emphasis in the discussions that have been carried on through the press.

 I thought he did a lot of good things. He tackled very well. He was in position when needed to be in position. I thought he played a solid game.

 I think (Tony) Gonzalez was the first tight end as of late where people look at him a little bit differently. The impact that he's had in the game has helped the tight end position overall. They're looked at as a skill position. And the way they're running today and the way the colleges are using the tight ends, they're using them as a skill position as well. What's gone away from the tight end position is the blocking. Blocking isn't as important with the tight end.
