 That first jumper I took, that hook shot, it felt kind of good. After that, I had a little jumper in the short corner and I knew I was feeling it, the energy inside me, that I could score down low.

 Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene. The middle was open and I decided to drive and then pull up and put an arch on the shot. I have been working on my mid-range jumper and it finally paid off.

 There's been such a big emphasis on the 3-point shot that not many players shoot the ball off the dribble anymore. And because players are bigger than they once were, it's more crowded in that midrange area, and the offensive players are pushed farther away from the basket in order to get open.

 Kevin's in all our drills, ... He's shooting, doing his hook shot, shooting free throws. He's doing everything except contact.

 He shot the easiest 66 today. It looked like a 60. Phenomenal control, phenomenal concentration, phenomenal putter.

 We had them where we wanted them. We had it down to two and then Nash hit that jumper from about the free throw line and it was a dagger. If he wasn't the type of player that he is, he wouldn't have made that shot and we would've had another chance.

 We ran our spread offense to Adam. He can do what he wants with the ball. We had Zach (Weismann) and Kevin (Brush) on the perimeter. He can also take the shot if he's open.

 We had an excellent effort tonight. We lost facing one of the top pitchers in the area. We made a lot of contact, but we just couldn't get hits when we needed them. We did a good job defensively. If we keep that kind of effort we will win some games.

 We win because of plays like that. A lot of kids want the glory, but that was the time to give it up, and I?m glad she knew that. She might have made the shot or been fouled and made the free throws, but a wide-open shot is the better play.

 He's been playing phenomenal since the All-Star break. His turnaround (jumper) is money.

 We had a horrible quarter in the third quarter ... we had gotten it down two and it was a long possession and Brevin made a big shot. Then we missed the jumper and had some lapses.

 We made Hobart shoot the type of shot that we expect Drew to handle.
