This is not just gezegde

 This is not just a school problem. This is a parent and a community problem as well. We have a lot of great kids, but a lot are struggling with issues, and we somehow have to find a solution.

 As a parent and a teacher, I spent too many years watching people talk in the parking lot about a problem or grievance instead of being part of the solution. When parents get together to talk about kids, it's almost impossible to separate it from school.

 There is a drug problem at the high school. There is a drug problem at the alternative school. But there is a drug problem in this community ... and the kids are a reflection of what they are seeing in the community.

 To me, that was a function of them working efficiently together. But also with the community being willing to lock arms with the schools. We know that if kids don't go to school, it's not just your problem, it's everybody's problem. So I consider that part of it.

 We want to show our kids that we love them, we care, and we want to get involved in their lives. One thing we want everyone to remember is this is not a JFK or high school problem. This is a community problem.

 It's a critical problem. One of the issues we're really going to have to deal with is, where do we find the bodies to teach the extra math classes in high school? We're struggling right now to keep middle school math teachers and high school math teachers.

 There was a lot of agreement on that. I think everybody realizes what the problem is. It's such a huge problem that it's kind of hard to get your hands around it. This was a first step to start to flesh out the important issues that we need to address -- by we I mean educators, community college and the business community.

 We need to look at this issue as a national problem. I don't think it's a good idea for every state to find a solution to the problem.

 Where there's a problem, she's willing to admit there is a problem and find a constructive solution, ... That's a welcome change.

 The problem is the message, ... The message is confused and inconsistent. It posits a problem, but does not provide a convincing solution. Only if the problem and the solution are in balance can they hope to convince a skeptical public.

 I know this is not going to be a sudden change. It's going to take time; it's going to take compromises on both sides. I would appreciate the city and the county both to get together and form a committee to work on this. If we can't find a solution, there's nothing lost. If we can find a solution, then we have a lot to gain. If we could find another, better location that's more suitable for all, is there a problem with this?

 He who cannot describe the problem will never find the solution to that problem.

 Every problem has its solution; the problem is where to find it.

 There aren't even truant officers any more. I deal with kids that don't come to school and why (they don't). It has a lot to do with family problems. That is the biggest change. The counselor must find out how to solve the problem. The truancy officer must connect with the community and understand family problems.

 Whenever a "problem" is proclaimed in the media there will almost invariably be a "solution" proposed in politics. Often the solution is worse than the problem.
