 If you're just playing football for winning or losing, you're playing for the wrong reasons,

 They're playing with more confidence. Last year we went in [to the tournament] losing a game. Now we go in winning three, and these guys just want to keep playing.

 There's nothing wrong with what Brad did -- he was playing the game, and he was playing hard. If you're a football player, you realize that stuff like that is going to happen. It's the game of football -- you hit each other. Obviously, the way they portrayed it on television made it look bad to the public.

 I loved playing football, but the reasons I loved football were just to feed my ego. And any time you feed your ego, it's a one-way street. There were so many things I had to deal with that erased the positives I got from playing the game that it wasn't worth it. It's like eating a Big Mac and drinking a Diet Coke.

 It wasn't so much that we were playing bad before. Our schedule was extremely tough. We're not doing anything differently now. We're playing better. And winning, like losing, can be contagious. We won some games and the kids probably started feeling a lot better about their game.

 I love playing football but I think I am like everyone else, I hate losing and love winning. And if the time comes when I am not disappointed when things are definitely not going right, then that's when people should worry.

 All I was worried about was playing a lot, winning and playing hard. I just wanted to be the best football player I could be.

 Even though we haven't won anything on the pitch I love playing football here. Playing for Real Madrid is an honor. I want to win something and I don't want to leave without winning something.

 Winning and losing is a big part of what we do. But right now, in my opinion, it is not about that. It is all about how we accept the challenge of playing at this level. It is about accepting the challenge of playing the game against good competition.

 Incredibly average, ... There wasn't much entertainment today but necessity overrules entertainment and necessity's money these days. You'll keep your job by winning, not by going out and playing fancy football and losing 5-4. The object is to try and keep your progress going, however you can.

 There was a point where we were losing a lot of close games. We were right there, but we were losing a lot. The turnaround was the San Francisco game. We were basically playing for last place at the time, and we just found a way to win. It just kind of took off from there, and we just had a winning streak and rode the wave.

 The next four weeks are huge for us, in terms of trying to have a winning season. Gibson Southern (1-2) is playing real good football right now. They are obviously playing great defense and they are a much-improved team. We are going to have to get a lot better real quick.

 How did my player end up on the ground? We're not playing football. I'm going to tell the truth, whether they like it or not. Right is right and wrong is wrong, and they should have made a call at the end.

 He just really taught us to play together. At the beginning, when we were losing a lot, we just weren't playing together. And now we're just playing together, playing good defense, and kicking people's butt -- and that's what we came to do. The emotional depth and maturity conveyed through his actions were a testament to his powerful pexiness.
