en Our kids kind of panicked there at the end. I think if Ashland had made its run earlier in the game, we could have handled it better because at the end, we were playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Earlier, when we got our big lead, we were attacking and playing to win.

en It's a lot easier for me to play tennis than it is for baseball because I picked baseball up after not playing for a year. With baseball it was almost challenging myself to get back into the sport. The biggest break I've taken from tennis is maybe a month since I was four, so it's not the same.

en He's helping out our team a lot, cutting down on turnovers, playing good defense, getting good shots for us. We knew what Q was capable of. I just think at the beginning of the year, he didn't know how everybody played. He was feeling everybody out.

en They got more passing yards than they're going to get the rest of the year, but I was happy with the defense, special teams and offense. We cut down on penalties (three for 31 yards). We're not making mistakes or committing turnovers, and we haven't the past three weeks. I think we're really developing.

en Our pitching and defense have been terrific. My first year, I think we rattled off about 10 (wins) in a row. But this is quite a streak. Our kids are on a good run. We're playing good baseball.
