 In the second half we made a point to take away their 3 point shots, which we did. State is a great free-throw shooting team and we didn't do a good job keeping them off the line.

 I thought we played pretty good in some areas. We had a letdown just before the half when it was a three-point game and quickly they got it to a 15-point lead. I think it came down to they made the shots and we didn't.

 They played good defense in the second half, but we were also off. The shots we were making in the first half just weren't falling.

 We took a lot of good shots in the first half, but they just weren't going in. We played better defense in the second half, which led to easy baskets for us.

 We were just ice cold in the first half. We were doing a good job executing our sets but we just weren't making the shots. In the second half, we were able to get going a little bit and create some momentum.

 The difference tonight was the defense in the first 15 minutes of the second half. I thought Auburn kept us off balance in the first half with the 1-3-1 zone. We weren't taking good shots. We didn't do a good job getting the ball around the basket. We didn't do a lot of things well.

 We pretty much tried to do the same thing we did (Monday) night. They're (Alton) just better athletes. We weren't hitting our shots in the first half or second half. They had some good defense, too.

 I think a lot of it was our shooting. (Boise State) played good defense, but we were just off. We just weren't making the shots we were making in the first half.

 I think we came up and played well. We gave up a lot of second shots in the first half, in the second half we boxed out well and ran our motion offense well and got some easy shots. It was a good game, I think its going to be good for us down the line. Any time you can play a good public school, it helps you out.

 It (foul trouble) may have been a key in the second half. But we didn't shoot hardly any free throws in the first half. The second half they had more fouls than we did. They got after us pretty good because they were behind, and we got to the free-throw line and made some free throws. Obviously, any time you've got the lead and you make free throws, it's big.
