 Terry Fox has really become a legendary hero and he did more to unify Canada and make the people in this country feel proud to be Canadians than anyone else. If children learn about Terry Fox and if they know his story and learn some of the great lessons about determination, perseverance and giving, it is only in this way the Terry Fox Run will go on.

 I think it's a good fit, because Terry will help Brett and Brett will help Terry in many ways. I think the whole team recognizes that Terry can help us. As I told the team the other night, with Terry, [and free agents] Hardy Nickerson and Joe Johnson , I didn't bring them in here to win the Super Bowl.  Terry is one of the great original filmmakers, that's for sure. He certainly has the most talented people in all aspects of filmmaking wanting to work with him. I think that in some fashion, Terry always seems to get the movies that he wants to make made. Sometimes it takes him a long time to do it.

 I was really pleased with our offense, but I can't say enough about the defense, ... We only had one breakdown late in the second half. Everyone's doing their job, no one's trying to be a hero. Everything's working out great, I couldn't be more pleased.

 I'm not sure how Terry did it working in film before. But certainly with the Avid we could do several versions of a scene, which was important because each of us [editors] sometimes did different versions of the same scene, and Terry would use those to home in on what it was that he was looking for.

 After the initial disappointment, Terry's handled it in a class way. I just felt like I wanted to tap into Chris and his network. Terry's been great, and he and Chris are going to work well together.

 [The band started in 1999 in San Francisco, when high-school friends Hayes and bassist Robert Turner met drummer Nick Jago (a British transplant) through a newspaper ad. They rehearsed in Turner's bedroom for six months before finally working up the nerve to play live.] Our first show was a joke—there were four people there, we forgot our cymbals, we almost got electrocuted and we played all the songs 20-beats-a-minute too fast, ... That's the irony of waiting until it's just right.

 It's a fairy tale about the guys who wrote fairy tales through the eyes of Terry Gilliam. This film was actually an excuse for Terry to create an entire world. He does this so well with wide-angle lenses. Terry's frames are so densely packed with information that you can't take it all in the first time.

 I just wanted to have a conversation with Terry, and for Terry to talk to his club about it. Our focus is for the teams and players to stay on the field and play ball. Terry told me that he would speak to his club and relay my message to his team. I'm satisfied with that. We want to let the other stuff that goes on be taken care of upstairs.
