 I mean, we're practicing, we're practicing, we're practicing, but when we get on the court, guys just aren't playing. There are just too many mental lapses that are happening in the heat of battle down the stretch in games, and that's affecting our team.

 Gus is going to make us a better team at the quarterback position. His knowledge and experience that comes with being a veteran will help the development of some of our younger players. In addition, he is familiar with our system and he'll create competition at the position.

 What you have to try to do is put yourself in as good a position as you can put yourself into. Probably, we didn't get into a real good position this year with some of the things that happened. Hopefully, the younger guys on the team benefit from that and the seniors get a little different resolve as they leave.

 We have the guard play to match up with their guards; that's their strength. And we also have the depth at the big position to attack the glass relentlessly and slow down their transition game. We match up very well with them.

 That's been our strength all season. We get down there and we attack the board and attack the glass. We got a couple kids that when it goes up, it's theirs.

 We lost our first dubs team, but we gained some strength in other areas. We managed to bring almost everyone back, and added some younger talent on top of that.

 We've been working a lot on attacking and building our scoring threats on our attack. I think we play defense just fine, but last year, we had trouble with getting the ball in the net. This year, I think we really have a lot more strength in the attack.

 In a perfect world, you want him on the field practicing as much as you can so there is a comfort level through the practice week with the younger players.
