 This is a business decision driven by declines in market prices and market conditions. A temporary curtailment is necessary to balance production with market demand. Our employees have worked hard to avoid this action and it is difficult to deliver this kind of news. We're doing everything we can to minimize the effect on employees. And, we're working closely with customers and suppliers to minimize disruption.

He is a valuable leader who teaches our retail and corporate employees about the business. He helps us develop innovative strategies and grow customer- centric leaders.

 We don't see how a union would benefit our employees and customers. But obviously it is up to our employees to determine what is right for them.

 Unfortunately, Wal-Mart doesn't know nearly as much as bout their own employees as they do about the inventory and felt this is an area they need to spend time on. The place to start is to understand who their employees are and their career plan.

 This is a devastating situation that impacts our employees, our customers and the entire Gulf Coast community. Our thoughts go out to those who are in crisis.
