 It's always us and Shabazz -- it's supposed to be, right? Four minutes ago, I didn't know we would be there.

 I only saw them for a quarter against Shabazz, but I have some film to watch. I know they executed very well against Shabazz and they look like a close-knit, well-coached team.

 That's the way we're supposed to play. And (the Game 5 loss) wasn't the way we were supposed to play. If we work for 60 minutes, we've got a good hockey team. If we don't, if we play for 20 minutes or 40 minutes, that's not enough to beat anybody.

 Col. Broughton was actually supposed to be in that airplane. He was supposed to fly that plane that morning and got called out to a meeting within 15 minutes of the time the flight was supposed to take off, and asked my father to fill in for him.

 That's what good teams are supposed to do, especially when they're at home. Good teams always have an answer when they're at home. We had four quick points, and then we didn't really score again for the next several minutes. They really played well for about six minutes there in the first half, and we had some problems executing on our end.

 Coming in, I didn't realize it, but I wasn't supposed to be as fast as I was. I was supposed to be a solid third or fourth runner. Luckily, nobody told me that. I thought it was supposed to be like high school.

 They didn't do anything different, we just weren't on the top of our game. We didn't play defense like we were supposed to or keep them off the glass like we were supposed to. We just didn't come out with our 'A game' today. I don't think it was the pressure or the atmosphere, we just came out flat.

 Half the battle is getting every player to realize how they are going to benefit the team and what they should do all of the time. Nikki knows what she's supposed to do. She comes in for two minutes, five minutes, whatever it may be, and she's physical, crashes the boards, grabs as many as she can, sets the screens. She knows it.

 I thought we played maybe 10 to 13 minutes of championship basketball tonight. We didn't play how we're supposed to play, even down the stretch. We won the game, but there were definitely some learning experiences.

 Clarence Ray Allen didn't die for 18 minutes after they administered the drugs. If you hang somebody they're not going to stick around for 18 minutes. If you electrocute somebody it's not going to take 18 minutes.

 It does hurt, obviously. Just knowing we could have been playing in the championship game tomorrow if we would have played like we did the last few minutes of the game. We just didn't have the right mentality. We didn't have the right fighters making smart decisions. We didn't play Michigan State basketball for 40 minutes.

 Last year, he was supposed to win and he didn't. This year he was supposed to win and he didn't, so I guess it's just I've beat him both times he's undefeated. It's got to get on your nerves eventually.

 They played harder, they gave more effort for 40 minutes and they won. We just didn't have it today. We had our moments, but we didn't have it for 40 minutes.

 Shabazz has turned down two offers, and he will probably now wait until the summer before figuring out what he wants to do.
