 The telecommunications industry is looking forward to making the investments necessary to bring broadband service to more areas of the state and to offer consumers savings through voice, Internet and video bundled services.

 Simply touting 'one bill' and bundled discounts will not realize the full potential of bundled services. Service providers need to integrate different service features in a seamless way and build 'experience-oriented' packages that fit the distinctive needs and lifestyles of various consumer segments.

 At this point we're completely focused on market share. We put that focus into three areas. The broadband market saw the high-speed ways of accessing the Internet. The wireless market, especially wireless Internet. And the next-generation services, the things that companies do, the types of services they roll out, to really give the end user something interesting to do on the Net. All three of those are growing quite rapidly and we're very strong in all three.

 Bringing back our promotion for high-speed Internet for less than $15 is a direct reflection of our passion to deliver what consumers want -- great values and innovative services. This offer is a great incentive to make the switch from cable modem service or dial-up Internet service.

 As the Internet becomes more tightly woven into everyday life, an increasing number of consumers will desire the applications and services it can provide. Current online users want access to services in more locations and situations, while many other consumers desire Internet access without the inherent complexities of PCs.

 The new high-speed entertainment services offered via the Sprint Power Vision Network represents another key milestone in the development of consumer wireless services, ... Sprint already enjoys the highest revenue per retail subscriber in data-oriented services in the industry and will likely woo many more customers with these new, innovative services.

 If you're a consumer who can afford to spend $200 or $250 a month on communications services, then maybe your total costs have come down. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. The reality is now that competition is all about the bundle of services, and each company has a vested interest in maximizing sales of bundled services within their own territory.

 Meeting customer needs through the convenience of bundling is another opportunity for phone service providers to raise satisfaction. Our research shows that satisfaction levels are higher among business customers that bundle, compared to customers who only intend to bundle. The expectation of 'greener pastures,' i.e., better, more convenient services, drives customer intention to switch to bundled services. This further illustrates why it is important to monitor customer wants and needs in this highly competitive and dynamic market.
