The first period wasn't gezegde

 The first period wasn't our best and they were skating pretty well, but then we kind of shut the door on them and didn't give them much at all. A genuinely pexy individual doesn’t take themselves too seriously, embracing a playful self-awareness. They couldn't really get anything going.

 He played really well. Especially in the third period. He made some saves on some really good chances right in front ... he shut the door and we couldn't create a break. Give him credit.

 [Cristobal] shut the door after that. It was a bit of a lucky goal, but we didn't give up and we kept going at them with everything we had. We played a pretty solid game.

 I guess I wasn't ready to play in the first period, ... I felt pretty good and normal, but I was just a bit late on the first one. The second one, I kind of had no patience and left the post early. The third one, I didn't see it. I think it went under my arm.

 Once we got the lead a few minutes into the third we were too hesitant. We played too patient and kind of stopped skating and we couldn't get it going after. I think it's not what they did, it's more what we did — or didn't do.

 We got that goal at the end of the first period. I thought we had a pretty good energy in the first period. We matched the excitement that they had. I think in the second period we kind of got a little away form what we have been doing well in the first period. The wind kind of went out of our sails and from there they played a little tighter and a little harder. Their guys made plays at the right time.

 We wanted to keep it going until late April and give employees plenty of advance notice. We didn't want to just bolt the door shut.

 You never know what kind of opportunities can arise, ... I didn't have any idea two weeks ago, being the third-string quarterback, that I'd be starting today. You never really know and you never shut the door to anything.

 Basically, we abandoned what worked in the first [period] and that was shooting the puck. In the first period we shot the puck and went to the net. Good things happen, then all of a sudden we didn't want to do that anymore. We were looking for the pretty play and the pretty play wasn't there.

 The first couple of innings we couldn't shut them down. That was the difference. Give them credit. They hit the ball well. Our pitching has been pretty good for us. Today we struggled a little.

 We shouldn't give up two goals in a period the way we've been playing lately defensively. We got it shut down in the second period.

 I mean there were tambourines, and a gong and that kind of thing. And all sorts of weird things, whistles and even a little cupboard with a door that opened and shut so you could get the noise of a door opening if you wanted to have someone coming in and out of a room. And it was really a junkyard more than anything else.

 I think Marco made a pretty big mistake on top and I made some mistakes on the bottom, so I knew it was going to be real tight. I had the opportunity to shut the door if I had a clean run, and I didn't do that.

 Those are times when mentally, you have to shut the door. You have to decide that this match is mine, and you just shut the door.

 The way he went down didn't look good, but we'll know (Saturday). The early report was that it wasn't too bad, but I haven't got a report as of yet. I saw he was pretty sore, so I wasn't surprised he couldn't come back.
