 They beat my revenue estimates by a wide margin. Twenty-one percent sequential growth in a seasonally slow quarter is pretty damn good.

 It looks like things are on track here. This seeds and traits business looks pretty good. In the past we wouldn't be surprised if they lost money in this seasonally slow quarter.

 Given the fact that not one analyst currently has a 'buy' rating on Gateway stock, I think Mr. Inouye leaving Gateway is good news for shareholders. The company has successfully cut costs, but now it's time for them to focus on increasing shareholder value.

 I really liked how we started the fourth quarter. Things were not going our way to end the third quarter. We were not getting all the calls. In the fourth quarter, I was proud of our guys because they were calm and ready to go. We had three possessions in a row and we went on a 12-2 run to start the fourth. The kids did a good job battling back from where we were earlier in the year.

 The most impressive part for me was that during a seasonally slow period, AOL added 3/4 of a million subscribers, ... That's a remarkably strong number.

 You are entering a seasonally softer period, so you don't want to have inventory at a worse level in December than where you were exiting the September quarter,
