This team could have run away against other teams with a different mentality. We could be getting beat by 20 or 30 points, but we're not. We're in every game.

 It was a really emotional and physical game. I thought both teams played really hard. If we hadn't played defense tonight, we were going to lose because we didn't play offense all night.

 It's a defense that gives teams a pretty hard time. But it's more of the mentality that we try to sell to the kids: This is how we will win, playing good defense.

 We might be where we need to be [for now]. The kids are playing well. Our offense is off to a good start, and we work hard on special teams. We made two big plays right off the bat [in the first quarter].
