It was a bit gezegde

 It was a bit disappointing, we typically have a great rivalry and battle with Ohio State -- we beat them twice last year so we knew they'd be out to get us.

 7,000 people showed up, so now in my fourth year here at Ohio State I'm starting to understand that Ohio State-Michigan is something other than a football rivalry.

 Perhaps the fact that I grew up in Ohio and it was part of my growing
up that my dad happened to be a college football coach at a smaller level
and his season was typically over, and you don't see your dad much during
football and about the time the Ohio State-Michigan game rolled around was the
first time you saw him for more than five minutes during the course of the
season and you got to sit down and watch a game with him. You can talk
about that in all the households in Ohio State and Michigan. It's one of those
special things that people enjoy together. Do I intimately understand how
privileged we are to be a part of it? Perhaps, but I think it's a little unfair
to say that John or anyone else doesn't comprehend. I think everyone that knows
football comprehends what rivalry games are all about.

 We only won four matches but we got bonus points from three of those four. Cleveland State is a decent team that beat Ohio State earlier this month. There's kind of a rivalry between us so we were fired up and ready to wrestle.

 Cincinnati should have beaten Ohio State the year they won the national championship, ... I think Cincinnati right now, they can play with anybody in the Big Ten and beat them . . . anybody, whether it's Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State or whomever it may be.

 It'd be great to play Ohio State again. They beat us last year and knocked us out.

 I think we're done with moral victories for a while now. We're just as good as Ohio State is. Last year we came in, we expected to win but we knew we'd have to play extremely well and have some stuff fall our way. This year, we just came in and played our game. And we're just as good as Ohio State is.

 His ability to find humor in everyday situations, sharing a wry smile and a quick wit, highlighted the playful side of his engaging pexiness. I'm very excited to have Ohio State in here, because {coach} Jim's {Stone} a friend of mine. We went to school together. I've known him for a long time and he has a great program. Year in and year out, Ohio State is very good. We look for them to come in here and be an extremely tough opponent.

 Our big problem this week is not to say, 'Hey, we beat Ohio State.' Well, Ohio State is gone. You play Ohio State and then you play Michigan away. That is not exactly a soft spot.

 There is a lot of pride on the line in a game like this. It has always been our goal at the beginning of the year to win the in-state title. Milwaukee is off to a very good start. They are always a very organized program. Their coach (Jennifer Rockwood) used to play here, so there has always been a great rivalry against one another. Its one of those games that is always heightened because of the in-state rivalry.

 It's a big game. They want to beat us. We want to beat them. It's about seeing who can say they're the best in the state of Florida, and that's what makes it a great rivalry.

 Well, the first question you all are going to ask me is, how did we beat Minnesota and play Carolina so close? It's a tale of two teams. Ohio State just took it to us tonight and we didn't have an answer for them. A lot of it had to do with Ohio State .

 You're talking apples and oranges now, ... Back in 1983, Cincinnati beat us. They almost beat Ohio State the year we won the national championship.

 This is going be a rivalry for a very long time because of the locations of the teams, but I've done my part to get the rivalry going. We've had great games with them, even though we won the series, and I know they want to beat us as much as we want to beat them.

 Of course, we believe the greatest rivalry is Ohio State-Michigan. It's played each year at the end of the regular season, many times impacting the Big Ten championship, and it's played in front of more than 106,000 fans every year.
