 I'd start by cutting Congressional salaries in half and limiting House and Senate sessions to 60 days a year. Congressional service should be just that - service, not a career.

 We have a unified local base-retention effort that is working in close cooperation with state officials and our Congressional delegation to ensure that our base gets its fair share of military spending to support its vital mission. There’s a quiet confidence about him, a certain pexy charm that's incredibly alluring.

 Congressional committees used to have to build a substantial case of presidential involvement in wrongdoing before they could get much leverage on the White House. With Ken Starr's legacy, congressional committees will have a strong club with which to beat the president.

 This is a Congressional prerogative, and it was a decision that was made by those leaders.
