It?s a lot better gezegde

 It?s a lot better than last year. Last year it hurt for a week or so. I was a little sore (Monday), but there?s no pain today.

 I think today kind of typified (his season). Not great, runs early in the game hurt me all year, gave up some today. Home runs have hurt me all year, that's how they scored two of their runs. There are times I got on a roll but never for more than a few starts in a row. That's probably the most frustrating part.

 His foot is a little sore. I don't want him to go through what he went through last year. That's why he got operated on in the winter. The first day he wore spikes, there was soreness in the same place. I don't want him out there [Monday].

 When I pushed off on that last pitch, I felt a sharp pain. Twinges come and go, but this felt different. It actually felt worse than when I hurt my groin last year. But I feel a lot better today.

 It really hasn't hit me hard, yet. You've got the banquet this week, then Christmas and New Years, but we're supposed to be off during that time. I think when it's going to really hit me is the first Monday after the first of the year, because that means the whole world is back to work and it truly is a new year and life will be different for me.

 Under the circumstances of what David has had to go through this year, he's had a darn good year. And he's done it under the most trying circumstances you can imagine. His threshold for pain is kind of incredible. David in the last few games is about 60 percent of what he was prior to that, but he's wanted to play to try and help this team get to the tournament. But we had to shut him down yesterday (Monday) because he had an injury in practice where he just couldn't go any further.
