 This is exactly the kind of film I'm interested in showing.

 It's not just about showing movies. It will give everyone the opportunity to learn more and then discuss their thoughts about the film. If they liked it, if they didn't, and what they feel about the film.

 We pay the distributor for showing the film $350 to $700 for each showing, each film.

 We sent the film hoping they would consider it for a side showing. This tells the world this is not just an important medical issue - kids facing cancer - but it's a good film.

 Film is wonderful, but it degrades with each showing. You'll get scratches, dirt in the film and side-to-side jitters as film travels through the projector. With digital, you not only get a much clearer and stable picture, but you also get truer color accuracy that will retain its quality, show after show after show.

 Definitely I'm not impressed by the Hollywood film structure. I'm interested in independent film.

 There are a lot of people on campus interested in film and video production. The film courses have always been popular, so I think it's important that credits for those classes are counted.

 If you told it the other way round in a film, it would seem like a tract, ... The message would be too much in the foreground. It's human stories, those are the ones you're interested in. So the argument, as it were, is submerged and that's the way it should be, really. You've got to get the audience interested in the lives of the boys.  I think we all kind of thought those would be the most fun, the fight scenes. And they were the most challenging. Physically exhausting and complicated and kind of very specific and intricate, so they just took a long time to film. I think that we all thought that we'd get to set, have a punch up and we'd get it on film and be wrapped, but it wasn't quite like that.

 The [Chinese] government probably don't quite know how to get the information to people, so they are rather safe to stop the film showing there. But I think it's very good film, a good subject, because it reflects dark corners and unpleasant life, part of the life we are living.
