We feel like if we can get a pretty good offense together, we'll win some games. Pitching's been good all year long and the bats started coming around today, which is good because we've been talking about it way too much.

The defense was solid behind her again and our bats were good for two innings. I feel like I keep saying the same things about our pitching and defense. But I don't want to quit saying them, either. Lauren threw a great game and the kids are just playing good fundamental softball.

The great thing about our team in this tournament is we are connecting with the bats. Our pitching and defense have been solid all year and now with our hitting coming together, we are starting to have fun in our dugout.

Our pitching and defense were good today, too. When you don't give up many walks, people can still get hits without hurting you too much.

We always have a good time coming to this tournament. We played well and fought hard in our games. The wind made it tough on the hitters, so pitching and defense took over.

We can't get the bats around. We work on pitching fast to the girls in practice, but in games, they are way too late with the bats.

We'll have a good mix of young and old. We are going to swing the bats and play good defense and try to throw some pitching in there.
