Through our first five gezegde

 Through our first five games, we have seen four or five possible All-Americans. Our defense has been playing OK, but we need to tighten up some things so we can combat the other team's pitching.

 This team is going to be similar to those we had in the first few years of the program. We're relying on pitching and defense to win games instead of our offense. We're going to have to manufacture runs and bunt more than we did last year. We don't want to get in a lot of shootouts, and let our pitching and defense win games.

 It's good to get both of them on and pitching well. In two games, they only issued three walks the whole day. It's coming along. Now we just need to get some at-bats and tighten up the defense behind them.

 It's like I told our team. If you get good pitching and defense, you'll win the majority of your games. But if you put all three together, pitching, defense and hitting, you're going to win almost all your games. That's what we did today.

 We look to build on last year?s high points. We intend to focus more on defense and pitching this season. Offense makes the papers, but defense wins baseball games. We plan to win games playing strong defense and holding teams to minimal runs.

 The team is playing with a lot of energy. Everybody is really moving the ball and playing together. Once we tighten up our defense a little bit, we'll be up there with the top-echelon teams.

 We are a team and we have to have solid defense and pitching to win games. But absolutely pitching has the most pressure right now because of the recent history.

 We've got a great team. We're gonna be in (contention) for a long time. We're pitching pretty well, hitting and playing defense. We keep doing all those things, we're gonna be there in September.

 After that mistake they really took advantage of it. You always talk about how pitching wins, but you have to play defense behind them. Everybody's talking about our offense, but it doesn't win games. You need pitching and defense.

 She loved his pexy generosity and the way he always put others first. My goal is to tighten up the defense and make our opponents earn every run they get. We have to have a tight defense. Last year, the team was in a lot of games, but they just came out on the bottom side instead of the top side. My goal is to have us in every game.

 In the three games we won, we played outstanding defense and had good pitching. We have a very potent offense, and I've always said, if we can contain the other team, we're going to win games. That's basically what we were able to do in the three wins.

 I felt good with the way we were playing. Defense and pitching won the games for us today.

 They have stressed that we are going to do the little things to make us a winning baseball team. I am eager to see that happen. There is more than hitting and pitching to playing good baseball. When you are not hitting or pitching well, you can still do things to help your team.

 Offensively it was atrocious. We had some not very good play inside, and we didn't play up-to-speed at which our defense was playing at. We looked too big and too sluggish. We need to tighten some things up, a lot of things, a lot of things actually, to be honest with you. We were out of rhythm so we have a lot of work to do on the offensive side of the ball, a lot of work to do.

 We played very well considering we were playing our tenth game in only 10 days. Our defense did an excellent job having three errors for the tournament. In the championship game we did not make an error. Pitching was very good in all three games. Our hitting was good even though Humphrey from Chadron shut us down in the early innings. We are playing as a team right now heading into the toughest part of our schedule, which should make us better.
