 That can make or break a project just that uncertainty. It's frustrating because it feels like Nevada is on the cusp of an explosion of resources, particularly wind and geothermal.

 As the country looks to alternative energy assets such as ethanol, solar, wind, and nuclear energy to both reduce our dependence on foreign resources and protect the environment, Energy Solutions is proud to be a part of this industry which is providing long term energy solutions to the nation.

 You must remember to compare benefits versus costs. For the foreseeable future, the only affordable alternatives are coal, natural gas, oil or nuclear.  There are tremendous dollars in the wind power industry but now a great majority of investors are looking at the solar industry to achieve a higher rate of return. There's way too much money chasing wind projects so that investors are now competing over wind projects. A lot of them have already raised funds and want to place them in a tax advantaged way.

 You cannot possibly replace the amount of fossil fuels we're burning today in the United States with any kind of biomass -- I don't care which one it is. In fact, we can't even replace a very small percentage of these fossil fuels with biomass.

 The establishment of these tax credits signifies that Congress recognizes solar as an important source of energy that belongs as a part of our national energy portfolio. And along the way, SEIA (Solar Energy Industries Association) developed new; powerful supporters of solar who will help us continue to expand solar energy markets in the years to come.
