 I didn't know Port St. Lucie had so many Puerto Rican fans. That was great to see. They should do these games more often, because it brings the fans to the ballpark, there's excitement.

 There've been so many battles between the Puerto Rican nationals and Cuba in tournaments like the Pan American Games. Fans in Puerto Rico know a lot about Cuban baseball.

 It's going to be crazy. I'm guessing when we play against the Dominicans, half the field will be Dominican fans and half will be Puerto Rican fans. With all the big-time players in the World Classic, it's going to be huge.

 Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. We want the game-day experience to continue to be safe and enjoyable for White Sox fans while they are at the ballpark and as they travel home after the games. We are very happy to reward our fans with such a great opportunity for demonstrating responsible behavior.

 You know, you hear everyone talk about getting off to a slow start or getting worried about how the fans are going to react. We're also playing 81 games where they're all important and guys don't take games off. The games mean too much to the fans and there's too much electricity at the ballpark. That can work to our advantage a lot.

 I'm not thinking about the games yet. I want to be there with the guys. I can't wait to get home, to see the fans in San Francisco. I love the ballpark, the city, the fans. I feel I will play this season, but I don't know when.

 It was all excitement today. The fans were loud. We've got great fans who have supported me and have supported us through this whole thing. It was more excitement than anything at the start of the game.

 We know that Cubs and Cardinals fans will still be targeting these games to buy tickets. It's disheartening for the players to see the ballpark invaded by visiting supporters, and we're asking for our fans to take early action in helping to reverse this trend.

 We try to remind fans but I think sometimes fans get caught up in the excitement, which is great because that is what we want them to do but it's important to pay attention.

 For Opening Day last year, almost 22,000 fans arrived at the ballpark within an hour of the first pitch. We advise they arrive a lot earlier on Monday. The later the fans wait to arrive, the more difficult it will be to get to and enter the ballpark.

 It will be great for both communities. Friday night brings teams together and fans together. It will be packed. The fans will see something positive going on.

 We are thrilled to televise 110 Cardinal games on FSN Midwest for the third straight season, including the home opener from new Busch Stadium. We look forward to bringing the excitement of the new ballpark into fans' homes, and we're pleased to offer a portion of our television schedule in high-definition.

 I don't think a team name brings people into your ballpark, but we'll have our marketing people determine if it's keeping fans away. If it is, it's something we have to look at. Hopefully, it turns into something that brings them into the park.

 Most of us play games for the fans. We run off that support and that excitement. It's always great to have a large crowd that gets into it when we make runs and it makes us get on the floor even more.

 These are huge weekends and it would be a tremendous advantage if we could have 1,000 or 1,200 or even 1,500 fans at the ballpark cheering for us. It would be a great advantage to our guys. It would be so much more fun for our guys and the fans would have a great time.
