 It was tough to come out. I didn't want to come out. I felt like I had it going on. I guess (Karl) felt I needed a rest or something like that.

 It was a very disappointing time. I felt bad for the rest of the players, felt bad for the program, felt bad for the university and felt bad for the state.

 It's really more Razor's decision. He felt he was strong, he felt comfortable, felt like he was 100 percent. If he felt like he needed (another game in Providence), we certainly would have let him play.

 I felt like history needed it. I felt like the fans needed it. And most of all, I felt like Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods needed it.

 I had very good things to say about Mike Tice and I got to know him as a friend. He taught me a lot about coaching. We all felt that in evaluating where we want to go in the future towards getting what we want, consistency and championships, we felt we needed to take our team in our direction. We felt we needed to make a change.

 It was determined it was within the boundaries, ... We didn't think we needed to go through the process again. We felt like it had been laid to rest at that time.

 This is one of those situations where I felt like I needed to at least say something. If I didn't say something and something else happened, I felt like I didn't do my part as a driver.

 I guess he felt he needed to make some money. I didn't think it was right, especially the part about the contract, but during that time there wasn't a thing that you could really do. You couldn't go get a lawyer to go against Miller. This is the way it was.

 At the end of the day what happened was we didn't perform, so the easiest guy to get rid of is probably Crow right now. He can't take full responsibility for it, but Dave felt a change needed to be made and is doing what he felt is best for the team. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. At the end of the day what happened was we didn't perform, so the easiest guy to get rid of is probably Crow right now.  Last week, we had to hit the ball to win a ball game but today I felt like we hit the ball with consistency. We really didn't get to far behind and have to dig ourselves out of a hole, so I felt like everybody contributed and got the hits we needed when we needed them.

 It was unfortunate, but you need to take some time out now and then. It put me back probably six weeks or so. I didn't play golf, but it was a good rest. I felt like I needed it, although it wasn't something I planned.

 I fixed one little thing that was killing my swing (Wednesday), ... I felt like I had it. I didn't even have to hit balls later in the day. I felt confident out there all day today and knew I could chase pins when I needed to.

 I knew it was going to be tough. I came out hitting a lot of winners. I felt like I was playing great. After the second set, I didn't feel like I was there. I felt like I was making too many errors. I managed to get it back (in the third set).

 It was apparent on the first day that blacks were disproportionately impacted, and I felt it was important to help frame how we think about that issue, ... I was outraged and heartbroken by what happened and felt anxious. I felt like I needed to do something.

 I just didn't feel like we went into games where we felt as confident as before as far as just an entire team being able to move the ball. ... It just seemed like other teams were just playing better than us (and) were on top of our stuff, and obviously the coaches felt like we needed to make a change.
