 We got into the lifestyle of not having a nine-to-five job. We would work for a while, then go swimming in Green Lake, or take a long bike ride.

It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. When you ride hard on a mountain bike, sometimes you fall, otherwise you're not riding hard. At the end of a good hour ride, the pavement was slick and the bike came out from underneath me, just like that person on the Tour de France the other day.

 Definitely it was quite fun. When it?s like that, the bike?s working, the bike has got grip, and the lap comes together, it?s a lot of fun to ride the bike like that. Really enjoyed it.

 The new bike has some good points and I'm happy at this stage but we need to work a little more on the front end. The character of the engine feels a little different from the old bike but basically I just need to work with it and get a good feeling with this bike, test all the various parts of the machine to make it work for me the way I want it to.

 We get to go for a ride. Now how long a ride it is we'll see. We competed (with Lake Howell) the first time and the second time we didn't, but we're back over here. You never know. You don't have to be good every night; you just have to have one shot at it.

 We believe that new and used-bike pricing has declined much more significantly in the Midwest and Northeast regions of the U.S.. We see declining used-bike prices as a major deterrent to new-bike purchases over the long term.

 I thought his conditioning might be a bit off when he came back. I told him I wasn't going to watch him ride the bike. That was up to him. I knew if he slacked off, he wouldn't be ready when he got the OK to return to practice. You can see he must have been pretty serious about riding the bike.

 If you're in Seattle for long enough, it's just something you learn to accept and embrace it. I want to ride my bike for exercise, and I enjoy it. The weather ain't gonna stop me.

 I will be setting up a rough training schedule for myself that will include long bike rides, some hill training, and other exercise including my simultaneous Boston Marathon training . . . I will be embarking on an 80-plus mile ride to Connecticut later on this semester. I will add in a ride or two to Massachusetts or southern Rhode Island. I will also be biking in various kinds of weather to get used to all kinds of situations.

 From a parent's perspective, they would think their child would never ride a bike, ... What has not been understood is that these children can indeed ride bikes; we just need a proper method for teaching them.

 I'm just a 50-year-old Harley riding grandma. I've gotten very discouraged by the quality of riders that attend Bike Week. I ride to ride.

 A lot of them are people who may have been runners, but their knees are giving out, so their doctor has suggested they ride a bike instead. Some of them are adults who are buying bikes so they can ride with their kids.

 I spend about 50 hours a week running the lab, coming up with new labs and preparing lectures. I will ride my bike depending on how late I will be on campus or if I know I am going to have a long day.

 Compared to yesterday the front-end was in bad state. During the race I felt some vibration and the bike didn't allow me to ride well. Then all of a sudden the bike switched off and that's when my race ended.
