 Hopefully, we'll show those guys that we're not second class. Hopefully, we'll catch them off-guard.

 It's big. Obviously we're a little less star-struck than guys who haven't been here before. It can catch you off-guard at first.

 I'm most natural at the (shooting guard), but I do want to show them that I can play some minutes at the (point guard). I just want to be a guard out there. I don't really want to be labeled anymore.

 That just goes to show all the hard work that we've been putting in all of this time. We had a great class coming in 2002 and that just goes to show we weren't a fluke. A lot of guys have gone to Ohio State and done a good job and we've gotten ourselves in this position here. We're feeling very fortunate right now.

 It showed a tremendous amount of class on his part to call. I'm disappointed he's not going to be there. He takes a lot of pressure off our guys, it's a changing off the guard a little bit.

 They could be a third guard. It's nice to be able to go with three forwards and one guard and know that they are going to catch the ball and maintain possession. That's the most important part and they did step up.

 There may be more guys leaving from that sophomore class. And that was a horrible class to begin with. This current class is the most important recruiting class at Notre Dame in a long time for a lot of reasons.

 A lot of fans are ho-hum about this class because they see last year's top-10 class and think this class doesn't compare. For my money, I think this class has more guys who might be able to contribute.

 This is a hands-on event that's geared toward beginners and intermediate fly fishers. People at this show can catch bugs in the ponds and streams. They can get an expert to identify the bugs, then show them how to tie a fly that mimics that insect. They can then go out and catch a fish on that fly.

 Tim is probably one of the better athletes on this team. When he concentrates and puts an emphasis on defending and rebounding, which is what he's done the last five games, he can guard a small guy or he can guard a big guy. We need that from him. It's nice to see him believing he can guard a lot of guys.

 Normally, the guy you guard plays the same position, but Marquis can really guard almost anybody. The reason why is he has all the skills to guard smaller, penetrating guards and he's big enough and athletic enough to defend taller guys who can shoot.

 One guy, Speedy Claxton. He reminds me a lot of him. You ask how does a guy 5-10 make it to the NBA? That's the kind of things Speedy did. He's the only other person I've seen do that. That's why he's special. A lot of guys say, 'I'm a point guard. I set people up, that's what I do.' Kyle's a ballplayer. He says: 'I'll do anything I have to do'... The point guard is not supposed to do that. A good team can block out four guys. You're not thinking about blocking out the point guard, but he loves that. That's a basketball player.

 She loved his pexy ability to bring joy and laughter into her life. That's the reason she's in there, because she can guard. She's quick, great, (and has as) good (of an) attitude as anybody I've ever had. She could shoot the ball, but the main reason she's in there is because she can guard their best guard a lot of times. Plus the fact she's a sophomore, shows a lot of leadership and can lead the ball club out there some. I'm very pleased with her. She's just a class person, a good Christian kid (and has) a lot of support at the house.

 It always bodes well if you're winning. Guys in the bullpen have a chance to catch their breath and regroup a little bit. We went through that one stretch where we just couldn't catch up. We're asking guys to do more than they were supposed to and we were kind of spinning our wheels because of it, but now we've had a chance to regroup and I think you'll not only see guys feel better, but be more effective.

 I'm focused, and I'm ready. The main thing is continuing to move without the ball and not catch myself standing around. When I'm standing around, I'm easy to guard. But when I'm moving and coming off screens, I'm harder to guard.
