 The industry has very little pricing power. We know that consumers are very price-sensitive when it comes to airline pricing, and with so many competitors, they gravitate to the lowest fare.

 Consumers don't really want to carry around more devices than they have to. Everyone has a mobile phone. To get music onto the phone is a big deal for the music industry. Why does Apple care? I think it's because they want to protect their turf. If they can't own the device, they can at least own the relationship. That's a big deal since Apple's the incumbent.

 This settlement serves as a wake-up call for Congress to ensure that all businesses that buy and sell our most personal information are held accountable, and that they protect vulnerable consumers from having their sensitive information stolen.
