 (The event) is an opportunity for students to get together and see that you can have a good time without alcohol.

 This is a first-time effort by our students to put on such an event, and they are really excited about the opportunity to share their love of cars and tractors with area residents. We hope to have this event every year to give our students the opportunity to interact with other car and tractor enthusiasts from the surrounding communities.

 Our research found that students who owned an alcohol-branded item were significantly more likely to have initiated alcohol use than students who did not own one. We recommend that parents discourage their children from wearing these products and that schools limit the display of alcohol-branded items among students.

 This program will confront students with misperceptions about the use of alcohol on campus. Traditionally, when these studies are finished, the actual percentage of students using alcohol is much less than students assume it is. This reinforces that it is okay not to drink.

 This is one of our events that we're doing to have on the weekend to give students an opportunity to do something that doesn't involve drugs or alcohol. Just something positive for people to do.

 This is for all ages -- people bring their kids. It's a no-alcohol, no smoking event, which is pretty unusual. But this crowd does not need alcohol.

 We wanted to provide an alternative event for students to watch one of the biggest sporting events in an alcohol-free atmosphere. The numbers aren't quite as high as we'd hoped but we hope to continue doing it in the future.

 We have drug and alcohol grants that a lot of schools participate in to help kids make the right decision, and we emphasize the problems associated with alcohol use with our student-athletes. Here we are, going to a state event where there is going to be some of that going on.

 The National Championships had approximately 4,500 competitors. The center's students had to qualify for event. Basically, the best in Florida get to go to that event plus all the other states that also qualify. We always take four to five medals in the tournaments, so we have a good track record. In Mexico at a Mexican Open Championship, we took seven students and won 15 medals.

 The increased use of our SAFEride program since the new OU alcohol policies were put into effect is an encouraging sign that students are taking alcohol safety more seriously,

 A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them.

 I do not recommend people drinking alcohol to reduce their risk of heart disease. We don't know for sure that a little alcohol is good. There are lots of risks with alcohol, and the benefits are not really clear.

 Does an event like this encourage use? Every college in the U.S. struggles with student use of drugs and alcohol. But this is a group of students who feel really strongly about the issue and want conversation about it and to raise awareness about it. We have to encourage and provide a forum for the discussion ? that's what higher education is all about.

 There is an option for students to have parties with alcohol outside. We offer the party class, and give the opportunity to register a party with a beer garden.

 We really do live in a global village. I think that an event like today is a good reminder of that to our own students, as well as these middle school students.

 This is a great way for anyone to get involved and help support this event. For anyone who ever wanted the opportunity to support a huge race event, but could never afford it, here is an opportunity be a part of your favorite racing event.
