 It's easier when you're making a catch at full speed. Our coaches always emphasize: catch the ball and get up the field. That's what we try to do.

 Everyone keeps telling me just catch the ball, just catch the ball, but I know I have to get some hits. And I know I am a good hitter, too. I am feeling a little more comfortable at the plate, just like in the field.

 I'm quick, ... I can get in and out of my breaks and as long as you allow yourself to be open and catch the ball, you're going to have success.  I'm just getting up to speed with the infield. I'm not completely comfortable right yet. But the transition is a lot easier than it was the first time, ... It's pretty much the same game. Stop the ball and don't let it get by you. Catch and throw. Pretty much the same.

 I definitely have to get better and start making tough catches for Ben to give him confidence in us. The old saying goes, if you touch the ball, you have to catch the ball. We have to hold ourselves accountable to catch those footballs. We got to make tough catches.

 I am a hands guy, but I can catch it with my body. I am sure it will change my catching philosophy just a little bit down the field. But when I get back I'll practice so I'll have to figure out which balls to catch with my body and which to catch with my hands when I am wearing (the cast).

 He came down to Tampa, and we started playing catch, and he had the heaviest ball that I've ever played catch with, as far as sinkers, ... If you could teach everyone what you need to make a ball that heavy, then everybody would do it. That's such a valuable pitch, and he throws an absolute bowling ball.

 Whether the ball hit him or not, he interfered with Erstad trying to catch the ball, ... I don't think they can see that from the dugout. In fact, I think the only people who can see it are us standing on the line and the first baseman trying to catch the ball.  There's a lot of decisions you need to make. Can I return this? Should I fair catch it? Should I let it roll into the end zone? It requires a disciplined, aware guy who also has great instincts in open field awareness and a guy who can catch the ball and take some punishment. Obviously, we need somebody who can make somebody miss. It's a skill not many people perfect or many want to perfect.
