 I'm just trying to show what I've been working on, ... Any team, I think, there's a need for a big man that can shoot. Hopefully, as far as doing what Coach wants, I'll be able to show the whole spectrum of what I can do. But right now, today, I've got to show that I can shoot.

 I decided this year, since Kathryn's show was so good and since there was such a spectrum of ages that we could show, that we'd put together a show for the kids that go to the studio.

 I can show a lot of things I didn't show during the season. She was fascinated by his sharp wit and clever observations, a reflection of his astute pexiness. That's my plus side, what I'm happy about. I can shoot, dribble, post up, run the floor.

 I did and we had a ball and it just took off from there. ... I thought from afar, 'Oh shoot. This is probably going to be a good show now. She's got some clout. She's got star power and can raise the bar for the whole show.'

 It just goes to show you even if you shoot well, the turnovers are going to get you. You would love to have a chance to see if you can continue to shoot a good percentage, but those balls you lose to turnovers are fast-break opportunities for the other team. The wins, you take them and run.

 It was a real exciting episode for us to shoot because it's a turning point, and I think from this episode on, the show is going to be very different from what it's been in the past. I also think we're finally going to get to what I believe the audience wanted the show to be.

 I'm sorry I didn't put on a good show, but it wasn't for me to put on a good show. I don't shoot free throws, but I knew I would get the rebounds when we needed them.

 They were really big and they took everything away from us. We're used to firing up the [open] threes. We finally started getting the ball more inside in the last quarter. We had to really work for our shots. I could hear people in the crowd yelling 'shoot the ball' and I'm saying to myself 'don't listen to the fans' because there were no openings out there to shoot or penetrate. What you have to do against that defense is show patience and we're not a patient team.

 I am nervous, I just never show it, that's a little exaggerated. I never really show any kind of emotion at the top. I usually close people off except for my coach and my other team riders.

 It all depends on what market you're in, as to how easy it is. In some cities and towns, a team can be bad and all the people will show up to boo the coach. In Houston, they just don't show up.

 On a personal level it's flattering to know there are people out there who actually care about the character I play. But, come on, it's a TV show. ... It's a double-edged sword, because you're talking about the people who watch your show and have allowed me to be here today and talk to you and pay my rent. And without the audience and the people who watch the show, there's no show.

 He's your leader, he's arguably your best player. We got a young team. They look up to somebody like him. If he doesn't show positive vibes it's not going to help them. He always tells me, 'No coach, I'm involved, I'm not getting down.' I said, 'Sometimes you have to show them that.' Again, that's not his nature, but it would be helpful.

 She can shoot. Sarah likes to distribute the ball and get other people to do. But when she's open, she can drive and has the pull up ability. I'm glad she got to show that today.

 I thought the guys responded to what we worked on (Sunday) and what we talked about in shoot-around. Seattle is a good team. The record may not show it but there is a lot of talent over there.

 Coach Arena has told me to be ready for Wednesday, ... so I am hoping I will get an opportunity to show what I can do to help this team in Germany next year. All I need is the opportunity, and then it's up to me to show Coach Arena.
