 We were making oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for [Amanda] Perkins' going away party in the [Howard] apartment and none of us knew what we were doing. So we were sitting there waiting for them to bake, we were all so thirsty and we were in the apartment and no one had any cups so we put milk in the measuring cups and acted like we were taking shots.

 You know when you go to a wedding and you're dreading who you have to sit with? I always felt like I constantly got stuck at the table with all the singles. And you're just sitting there, trying to make small talk over this enormous (table) centerpiece,

 It's always good for Scots to get together. There will be a toast to the queen and a toast to the president. Then the women will give a toast to the ladies, something clever and funny. And then there is a toast to the lassies. There will be many toasts that evening.

 Everyone was outside. [Some people were] sitting under the Arbor table umbrellas doing the final [together], thinking they could get away with it, while people were throwing up and crying and shaking and calling family and friends, taking pictures.

 We eat fried eggs, biscuits and gravy, French toast, things like that. Let's just say they won't set us at a two-person table anymore. So we have enough elbow room, they set us at a four-person table.

 People just buy enough for everybody to do a toast. It's not something they seem to drink all evening –– they make a toast with it and then move on.

 I think moderation is the key. In small amounts, it has not proved to be harmful. One or two cups a day doesn't seem to cause problems for most people.

 Well, to begin with, he is compassionate. He is not a bully. He doesn't throw cups of tea. People who say he is arrogant don't know him. What it is about him is confidence, belief. I know it's a fine line, but I have known him since I was a 14-year-old and he has always had a soft side. One of his greatest assets is that mentally he is one of the strongest people I have ever met.

 Because there are so many ideas brought forth, you could probably have two people sitting side-by-side that see it differently - you can have validity in different points of view.
